Exciting new winter stage-race announced in southern Spain
Get ready for the Ibex Multi-Day!
Get ready for the Ibex Multi-Day - the 5-day multi-stage race runners have been waiting for in the heart of Granada province, Andalucia, Spain.
Organized by Steve Farnham and Sarah Whittington, of Ultra Trail Spain running holidays, the first edition of this 212km route will be held between 23 and 27 December 2020.
Thanks to the generous support of the Ayuntamiento Pueblos de Moclín, this semi-supported route with 8,879m positive ascent, which is mainly off-road on local tracks and trails, will cover Moclín and the surrounding area. Runners will pass through the Moclín municipality taking in the villages of Tiena, Olivares, Gumiel, Puerto Lope, Tózar and Limones on different days of the event. The route will also cover areas of Colomera, Íllora, Pinos Puente, and Mures, the latter of which is over the border in Jaén province. Each evening runners will return to Moclín for their accommodation, hot showers and evening meal.
